レクチャーに向けてカウントダウン!

Dear Dr.
Fernandes,
My name is
Toshiaki Nakagome, president of the ELCREST esthetic salon. I would like to
express my appreciation to you for kindly agreeing to give us a special lecture
on Sunday, October 20. Our fifty staff members and the other three hundred
attendants are all looking forward to hearing you speak.
The lecture is
scheduled for one hour, from 2 pm to 3 pm, and the attendants will be our
select clients, most of whom are regular users of ENVIRON products. I'm sure you've
been preparing your lecture, but I wanted to mention some topics that the
audience will be particularly interested in hearing from you, such as the
research and development history of Environ
and any tips you have on how to use Environ
products:
1) Environ'S research and development
history
If my understanding is correct, you started Environ after two of your patients
passed away from melanoma. It was during the time when the ozone layer was
worse than ever, causing an increase in ultraviolet rays that was particularly
damaging to people in South Africa. Our attendants would love to hear this
story, in addition to the rest of Environ's
history.
2) Importance of
Vitamin A and antioxidants
Since Vitamin A and antioxidants are
necessary to maintain healthy skin, our attendants would love to hear your
thoughts on the application and usefulness of these products.
3) Correct
information about skincare
Skincare products should be developed with a
great deal of knowledge and experience in both medicine and pharmacy. It's
important for consumers to have a basic knowledge of skincare as well, in order
to make informed decisions about the wide variety of products that are
available today. Since there is no such thing as "fashion" when it comes to taking
care of the skin, people should not blindly follow the latest skincare trends.
Because of this, the audience would love to hear your advice on how to make their
own well-informed skincare decisions.
4) About the
enclosed pictures (the macula case)
Please see the note that I attached to this
letter, along with the photos of the macula case. I would greatly appreciate
the opportunity to take just a few moments during your lecture to relate this
case to the audience.
After attending
your lecture, I believe the participants will appreciate ENVIRON more than ever
and that they will receive even more ENVIRON treatments. Being beautiful gives
confidence to women and I want Japanese women to have this kind of confidence
in themselves in order to advance further into politics and economics and to
play major roles in fields that have traditionally been male-dominated in
Japan. This kind of advancement for women is critical to Japan's future.
Please also
allow me to briefly tell you about ELCREST, as well as my own introduction to
ENVIRON products. ELCREST was opened in October 1998, so this year is our 15th
anniversary. Currently, there are three company salons and seven member salons.
I learned about
ENVIRON thirteen years ago, which was two years after the establishment of
ELCREST. Before then, our salon used many skincare products but we weren't able
to get the results we wanted. In addition, our education programs for staff,
including practice sessions, were not organized very well. As a result, many
customers left us and some staff members lost their confidence and left
too.
That was when
Mr. Kohama of PROTEA Japan called me and introduced
me to ENVIRON products. He showed me some pictures of ENVIRON users and I was
amazed at the results. He also gave me samples of the cleansing cream, gel and
cream. Since I suffered from acne, I started using the products and was
surprised that the cleanser did not foam. My first concern was whether or not
this product would be accepted by Japanese women, because they tend to use
foaming face wash products. I also worried that the gel and the cream didn't
look fancy enough, because they were packaged in what appeared to be a plain
toothpaste tube. Also, I smelled ingredients and the vitamin color turned my
skin yellow when I applied the product to my skin, which concerned me. In
addition, I didn't know much about South Africa at the time, so I wasn't sure
whether our customers and staff would accept South Africa products.
When I hesitated
to use ENVIRON products in our salons, Mr. Kohama invited
me to one of their seminars. That presentation changed my opinion immediately!
Dr. Tozawa gave a lecture to atopic dermatitis
patients, which was very touching to me. When I saw the before-and-after
pictures, the results seemed like magic. I was so impressed by her lecture that
I couldn't even sleep that night. I decided right then to add these wonderful
products to our lineup, and had no doubt that our customers and staff would be
as pleased as I was with ENVIRON. This was a major turning point in my life.
The ELCREST
salon now holds a seminar every October, featuring Dr. Tozawa as a lecturer,
because I want as many people as possible to learn about skincare and to see
their excellent product so that they will have the same impression I had years
ago. Thanks to ENVIRON, the ELCREST salon is a success and our business is
expanding. Some many of our ENVIRON users were so impressed that they have
actually joined our staff. In addition, eight of our employees have been
established their own salons. Many people had great success with ENVIRON,
including me, of course.
Learning about
ENVIRON has been the greatest pleasure of my life and I know it can help other
people realize their dreams as well. I have such great respect for the
contributions you've made to society and to healthy skin for so many years.
That's why it's such an honor for the ELCREST esthetic salon to welcome you to
our seminar, and why I'm personally looking forward to seeing you on there on
October 20.
Thank you so
much for your kind attention.
Yours
truly,
Toshiaki
Nakagome
President,
ELCREST Co., Ltd.
